Added two more to the timeline. Also, don't forget about the upcoming Mario Hoops 3-on-3, which is sure to be awesome--Square Enix's developing it, and it features several Final Fantasy series characters, which is cool. But the most important thing is that Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong will also be included. It's set to hit stores on... 9/11.
Another thing--although I don't update with the intensity that I did when I first started this site, don't conclude that I've lost interest. I just have a lot of things to do. I know you hear the same spiel from every site admin, but it really is true. Just hang in there. And send me a goddamn essay for a change.

Some golf-centric timeline entries.
July 14, 2006
Here's a timeline entry that's bound to ruffle some feathers: Super Smash Bros. Go take a look and begin sending your complaints.
June 26, 2006
Well, what can I say... I know, I'm sorry. Here's a timeline update: I've added Mario Party.
Also, keep an eye out for the Super Mario Bros. Super Show DVD box set. I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard it's out there.
May 18, 2006
Holy crap. I've let another month get by me. Well, guess what? Starting in about a week, I'll be on summer vacation. Know what that means? Updates galore. I promise. Stay tuned.
Oh, and most of you are aware of this, but New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS was officially released on Monday. Buy it at any retailer except Wal-Mart. Yesterday I went to the local Wal-Mart and attempted to buy the game, but it was nowhere to be found. When I inquired why a sales flyer had stated that NSMB would be available on the seventeenth and yet the game was missing from the store, the clueless associate could offer no explanation. She was even wearing a button advertising the game. So today I drove thirty miles to the nearest Circuit City and bought NSMB. That'll teach Wal-Mart. Add this incident to the list of reasons to boycott Wal-Mart.
April 14, 2006
Some new fan art by my good friend L.D. is up--it's part of his Toadwood Forest set. Also, check out the timeline. I've finished all of the "past" sequences of M&LPiT.
April 5, 2006
I added a piece of art I did for a school project to my art page.
March 28, 2006
I had no idea it had been an entire month since I'd updated. I guess with spring break, a new job, and increasing amounts of homework, I'd been too busy to notice. Sorry about that. Anyway, I've added an island chain to the Geography feature. See you in a month!
Just kidding. Hopefully.
February 27, 2006
I told you I'd update. Today we have a new banner (which will constantly change--the first picture will always be of DK Arcade (the first Mario game), and the second picture will always be of the latest Mario game to be released (in this case Super Princess Peach). A new essay is up, and it's on the geography of Mushroom Earth. Also, a slight addition has been made to the beginning of the timeline--I'm preparing to add M&LPiT.
In other news, Super Princess Peach is officially OUT! This should be a great exercise in platforming and also a good preparation for the next big Mario platformer, New Super Mario Bros., which is featured in the latest issue of Nintendo Power. So pick both of those up.
February 26, 2006
Check out Pdoogan's new site. The link's on the Links page. Oh, and I promise I will update soon. I just don't have the time right now.
February 11, 2006
I guess you guys have learned the meaning of update drought, huh? Well, I've begun a new section of the site, the games page. It's by no means complete, but it's up at least.
February 1, 2006
Added Game & Watch Gallery 2 to the timeline. I know, it's not much.
January 25, 2006
Added Game & Watch Gallery to the timeline.
January 20, 2006
Made a few cosmetic changes to the site.

UPDATE #2
Forum member L.D. is now in the art section. He has four pieces on display, so check them out.
UPDATE #1
School was closed, and so here I am with the promised update. Mario Kart 64 awaits you.
January 17, 2006
UPDATE #2
You know what I just realized? Every time I've talked about a release date, I've listed the U.S. release date. Thing is, I haven't specified which area of the world each release date was for. Therefore, I apologize to all of our international readers and promise to specify which area's release date I'm talking about in the future.
UPDATE #1
I'm finally back, and I have brought a few cosmetic changes to the site with me. Check out the new page headings. It's snowing here, so I may update the timeline tomorrow if school is closed.
January 1, 2006
I got in big trouble just last night and am grounded for two weeks from pretty much everything, including the internet. That means that there will be no updates for two weeks. Sorry, guys.
December 28, 2005
Well, here's the new design! There are still a few bugs to work out--I've gotta get that domain name changed, for one thing. Also, I haven't uploaded the little fan art I have. I know, the site's a little rough around the edges, but since I built it from scratch, it's going to be like this for a while. I did remaster Kamikaze Koopa's essay--now it is formatted correctly and has most of the links it was supposed to have in the first place. No timeline update though.
December 27, 2005
You guys probably hate me by now. . . but know one thing--there are going to be some big improvements around here soon. Or might they be somewhere else? You'll have to wait and see. Expect at least a timeline update tomorrow.
December 4, 2005
Added Kirby Super Star to the timeline. I know it's not much, but I'm trying. Life has been coming at me fast lately, and so I haven't had much spare time. What's that? I'm an obsessed nerd with no friends and no hope of ever finding love and therefore have all the time in the world but am just too lazy to update? And I'm ugly?
November 28, 2005
Sorry about the lack of updates; I was on vacation over the Thanksgiving break and couldn't update. I'm back, though, and I will update soon. I've encountered a snag, however. I'm not sure where Popstar (Kirby's planet) is located in relation to the Mushroom Earth. That's why I created a topic on Kamikaze's forums to brainstorm some theories. If you have an opinion, go post it. This information is crucial to the next timeline entry, Kirby Super Star.
Also, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time is supposed to be out today, so go pick that up.
November 20, 2005
Today, I give you a timeline update. I added some info to that small entry posted a few days ago, and I added SM64/SM64DS.
November 16, 2005
Once again, this isn't so much of an update as it is a notification. I just want to say that MKDS online is very fun. My nickname is Claws and my friend code is 171858-228396. Sorry for the lack of real updates; I'll get on that as soon as I can.
November 9, 2005
I realize updates have been lacking, so I posted a little information at the end of the timeline to serve as a transition between SMRPG and SM64. Also, I wanted to let all of you dedicated Mario fans out there know that a great game, Donkey Kong Country 3, will be available everywhere for GBA tomorrow. I know, it was officially released on Monday, but my local Wal-Mart said it wouldn't be available until Thursday. So I'm pretty sure you'll find it on store shelves everywhere tomorrow. It's a port, but it includes so many extras (even a new world) that it's well worth revisiting.
I guess I've sounded like a Nintendo spokesperson lately, huh?
November 1, 2005
I updated the timeline. SMRPG is the latest entry. Also, I urge everyone to pick up Mario Kart DS and Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time (DS) when they arrive in stores this November. MKDS is particularly important because it marks the launch of the Nintendo Wi-fi Connection, which is sure to make the Mario Kart experience as exciting as ever. I'll be playing online (as Claws); will you? M&L2 is not online, but that won't stop it from being a great game. And if previous Mario RPGs are any indication, we're in store for perhaps the Mario game of the year.
Also, if you haven't done so already, buy DK: King of Swing (GBA). Don't complain about the control system; you'll get the hang of it. Trust me, it's a great game, and if you're a DK fan (and you like continuity) this is an absolute must-buy. No questions asked.
October 25, 2005
Not really an update, but I changed the Yoshi Mastar Arts link to the actual name of the site, Red Coin Saloon. Yoshi Mastar's been updating quite a bit, so go there and read his comics. Also, I just finished the GBA game DK: King of Swing, so I plan on writing an essay about it soon.
October 18, 2005
I added Wario Land (VB), Mario's Game Gallery, Mario's FUNdamentals, Mario's Picross, and Mario's Tennis to the timeline. Mario's Tennis comes right after Super Mario Kart. I have no idea about Wario Land (VB)'s ending, so I kind of rushed through it.
October 14, 2005
I added Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land and Hotel Mario (for the Philips CD-I) to the timeline. They're above the Mario's Early Years entries. I also listed Tetris & Dr. Mario as the same game as Dr. Mario (besides the Tetris part, it's basically the same game).
October 8, 2005
I added the three Mario's Early Years! titles to the timeline. I think I'm finally done with the edutainment titles.
Ocotber 3, 2005
Added Mario's Time Machine and Yoshi's Safari to the timeline.
October 2, 2005
There were a few stupid errors in my first essay (the DKL/DK'94 one) that I have corrected. That mountain I spoke of? I think it's been confirmed to be on Mushroom Earth (because Donkey Kong Jungle is on Mushroom Earth). I apologize for this being such a dumb update.
September 28, 2005
I added Yoshi's Cookie and Mario is Missing! to the timeline. Hope you enjoy it; it's harder to sort out that you'd think. Also, check out poster Toomai's Journey of Ten (his epic fanfic) game on Kamikaze Koopa's Mario Forums. It's quite fun.
September 21, 2005
I added Super Mario Kart and Mario Paint to the timeline (they're above Super Mario Land 2).
September 19, 2005
Wow, my insignificant, petty life's been keeping me busy lately! Sorry that I had to keep the hordes of you avid readers waiting. I finally set up the Fan Art section, so if you're hopeless enough to draw Mario characters in your free time, take the next step and show them to the world. Send them to me at Claws84@hotmail.com. I've broken the ice and set up my own gallery. And don't think the timeline will never be updated again; I plan on continuing that project as soon as possible.
September 15, 2005
Ha! I am connected once again. But I haven't had time to write anything today. Sorry. Check back again later.
September 6, 2005
Sorry for the lack of updates, but once again I don't have regular access to the internet. I have been moving for the last week and have just gotten settled, but my house won't be connected to the internet until the fifteenth, so don't expect any updates until then. In the meantime I'll try to write a few things to post when I finally do get reconnected. I haven't lost interest in the site, so don't worry. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.
August 30, 2005
I added about four games to the timeline (one is grouped with the F-1 Race/Sim City entry), and I slightly modified the latest essay. Check out Kamikaze Koopa's Mario Forums. There are some in-depth discussions going on. Also, newest member Toomai is slowly revealing his fanfic, Journey of Ten, and it's good. The links page has been updated to reflect forum member Yoshi Mastar's new comics web site.
August 25, 2005
I wrote a new essay about DK Island's location... it's kind of a rebuttal to Kamikaze Koopa's last essay. It's the result of asking a bunch of DK fans their views on the subject of DK Island's dimensional location. They presented me with some very sound arguments, and I have gathered them together and organized them in this latest essay.
August 22, 2005
UPDATE #2
Added a few extremely obscure and unimportant games to the timeline. I basically just skimmed over their contents to create their collective entry.
UPDATE #1
I added F-1 Race and Sim City to the timeline; they're right beneath the Tetris entry. I hope it all makes sense. It's extremely awkward, but what can you do?
August 15, 2005
I added Dr. Mario to the timeline.
August 12, 2005
UPDATE #3
I altered the Donkey Kong Arcade/Donkey Kong '94 entry. I've changed the bit about Mario and Pauline entering the Mushroom Dimension--that was awkward, and it didn't really make sense. Now it states that the area around the dimensional tear that led to the Mushroom Dimension had the qualities of a typical Mushroom Dimension landscape because of "interdimensional bleeding," a process that can be observed in full force in Banjo-Kazooie (N64), and that this is where Mario and Pauline experimented with the mushrooms.
UPDATE #2
Another thing: I added the timeline to the navigation bar and removed it from the essays page. This will make it easier to find and more prominent. Also, if any of you have been sending essays in, know that I haven't been able to check my email on the school computer. I will check it tonight.
UPDATE #1
Well, that last update was pretty stupid. I just wanted to say that I'll be getting my computer back tonight, so get ready for some real updates soon.
August 11, 2005
I'm still alive! Just hang on!
August 5, 2005
UPDATE #2
I'm at the library now, and I've updated the timeline slightly. The Donkey Kong 3 entry has been modified a little.
UPDATE #1
Contrary to popular belief, I am not dead. I am very much alive (at the moment). I haven't updated because my computer screwed up Monday, and today has been my first chance to get online (I'm at school right now). I probably won't update the timeline until my computer gets out of the shop, so just hang in there. I'll be back.
July 29, 2005
UPDATE #2
Whaddya know, two updates in one day! You guys have gotta be in ecstasy right now. Go check out the timeline. You'll find fancy italicized game titles, Alleyway info, and Super Mario Bros. 3 info.
UPDATE #1
Sorry for the update drought. Added Super Mario Land to the timeline.
July 26, 2005
I updated some of the information in the timeline about Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Story. I also added a few more games. I didn't think Tetris had such a deep backstory!
July 25, 2004
Updated the timeline once again. Hey, I had six page views yesterday! Keep up the good work!
July 19, 2005
I once again changed some dates around in the Timeline. This time, though, I added a few new games. So, for those of you who live for the content on this site, tonight you will be merry. Tomorrow, however, I'm going to see Dave Matthews Band live, so don't expect an update. Sorry, the three of you who actually follow this site.
July 18, 2005
I just completed some major renovations to the timeline. I didn't add any games, but I did completely reorganize the order in which the games occurred. Trust me; it'll make more sense now.
July 15, 2005
Hello, reader. In this section of the site I'll post about anything new I do on any other part of the site. For example, just a little while ago I altered the Mario Timeline by including Donkey Kong '94 (or GB) in the entry for Donkey Kong (Arcade). I realized that if I didn't accept that they were the same adventure, the timeline would be really awkward. Also, a few days ago I posted an essay by a certain Kamikaze Koopa. You know, the one who created that nifty little forum that I've linked to just above this text. So check both of those out.
